  • On the top menu of the site, click "Login|Register"
  • Make sure you click on the "Login" section
  • Click "Password Reset", enter your email address, and a reset link will be emailed to you

I would rather not login every time I come to the site. Can't I save my password?
Your computer may have settings to remember your password. Otherwise make sure to choose a password that you remember. We do not keep a log of passwords.

​TRASH PICKUP & CART ISSUES 

What are the trash pickup holidays?
Trash pickup occurs on Wednesday. On weeks with trash holidays, pickup is on Thursday.

Yes, large items and bulk items require 1 sticker per item.

​GARBAGE COLLECTION GUIDELINES – City of Aurora, IL

The following guidelines are followed during garbage collection:

· Items must be at the curb by 6 a.m. on the scheduled collection day, but no earlier than 7 p.m. the day before
  collection.

· Empty trash carts, recycle carts and other containers must be removed from the curb by midnight on the day of
  collection.

· Place carts at curb or a maximum of 3 feet from road with front of the carts facing the street. Carts should be placed 3 feet
  apart from any other cart.
· Excess trash outside of your cart must be placed in a trash container or bag with each extra unit not exceeding 33 gallons in      capacity and not exceeding 50 pounds. Each additional can or bag requires a sticker.
· Stickers can be purchased at most grocery and hardware stores or at City Hall and the Customer Service Center, 3770              McCoy Drive, for a cost of $2.75 each. Stickers are used for yard waste, bags, cans, large items and appliances that are in            addition to your cart.
· Content of trash cart or additional cans may not be overfilled. Lids must be fully closed.

Bulk Items
Materials that do not fit in a cart or container, such as small amounts of construction debris and rolls of carpeting, must be securely tied in bundles not exceeding 2 feet in diameter, 4 feet in length, and 50 pounds in weight. A sticker must be affixed to each bundle. Single items such as chairs, tables, mattresses, etc. must have one sticker affixed to each item. Call Groot at 630-892-9294 with any questions. Appliances
The collection of appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, water heaters, etc. must be scheduled in advance by calling Groot at 630-892-9294. Appliances must have 1 sticker affixed.

Special Pick-Up & Temporary Containers
For those times when residents have a large amount of refuse or yard waste that may be too time consuming to use 33 gallon bags or containers, Groot offers temporary containers or a special pickup. Arrangements must be made at least 24 hours in advance by calling Groot at 630-892-9294.

Electronic Waste
Effective on January 1, 2012, electronic waste is banned from Illinois landfills. The City of Aurora offers collection events. For more information on electronics recycling, call the Customer Service Center number at 630-256-4636.

Household Hazardous Waste
Hazardous materials include the following:

· Automotive fluids
· Cleaning solvents
· Fertilizers
· Flammable materials
· Motor oil
· Oil-based paint
· Pesticides
These items cannot be set out for curbside collection.

KEY FOBS - Obtain - Lost - Returns
To obtain, replace or return your key fob, please visit the Hometown Association office at 1721 Town Center Street, Suite 103, Aurora, IL on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 9-3pm and Friday from 9-12pm.  Please call for an appointment for an afterhours request. An ID will be required at the time of your visit.
OBTAIN:
All Owners and Tenants can pick up their respective key fobs.  If you would like a second key fob, there is a $75.00 Tenants must have a current lease and a Landlord Tenant Lease Addendum on file with the Association office.  If you would like an additional key fob, there is a $75.00 fee for each additional fob requested.
LOST:
If you have lost your key fob, there is a $75.00 replacement fee.  Please bring a check with you made payable to Hometown HOA.  The Association does not accept debit or credit cards.
RETURNS:
If you are moving all key fobs must be returned to the Hometown Association office. Failure to do so will result in a $75.00 fine.  All key fobs are the property of the Hometown Homeowners Association.  

OBTAIN OR REPLACE A MAILBOX KEY
To obtain or replace your mailbox key, you will have to go to the United States Post Office at 525 Broadway, Aurora, IL.  There is a $35.00 fee for a new lock and two keys. The post is office is located next to Two Brothers Roundhouse restaurant.

ASSOCIATION PAYMENTS
When are my association payments due?
  • Payments are due on the first of each month.
  • All Associations have a 30-day grace period before payments are considered late.
  • A $25 late fee will be assessed for each late payment.

When and where do I mail my payments?
Checks should be addressed to your respective Association with your account number listed on the check. Please include your coupon with payment.

Can I use online banking to pay my bill?
Yes, you can use your bank's bill payment service to make the payments. Please include your account number in the payment notation.

Does the Association offer Automatic Withdrawal?
Each Association offers Automatic Withdrawal.  Forms can be found under each Association on the hometownhoa.com website.  Forms can also be obtained by visiting the Association office at 1721 Town Center Street, Suite 103 or by contacting Mindy Soldat at 630-236-0732 or via email at [email protected]

Do you accept credit card payments?
At this time, we do not accept credit card payments over the phone or in the office.
However, you can make a credit card payment using the Foster Premier website. Note, an additional fee is charged to use this payment method.
